Found this guy’s Cummins schematics listed in a forum. These are not scans, they look like factory schematics. This should help with debugging the intermittent alternator. I downloaded them as well. When I get done machining parts for a friend, I will start debugging the alternator again.

This morning after a long over night cold soak, the alternator was not working. Not sure what the issue is.

So far the alternator is still working as of tonight. The truck sat about 8 hrs before I fired it up again. Drove it 25 miles. Worked great! Will retest in the morning.
