Installed the front KYB shocks this morning. What a pain!!! The truck does ride much better now. It’s not so sloppy. Now I just need to have the tires balanced by a competent shop and get the front end aligned.

The DGK-121 Bosch injector pump seal kit arrived from Sam the Diesel man via Ebay today!! I still need to find a 13mm box end obstruction wrench and a 3 point socket to help remove and disassemble the injector pump. I read here is post #73, that I can possibly modify a 13mm 6 point socket into a 3 point socket.

My 19 foot cargo trailer had a very loose left front wheel. It turned out that the builder used a bearing that was smaller in diameter than was required. So there was no adjustment left. It took 2 trips to Kragen to get the right bearing. Once I knocked out the old race, Detra at Kragen and I found the right bearing. They were not listed in their computer. These days they also sell the race separately.

The fuel leak is definitely coming from the governor shaft seal. I checked closely today. My reseal kit should be here in about 3 days. The front shocks should arrive about then too.
