I thought the leak was coming from the governor shaft o-ring. But I may be wrong. Here is a post that that shows another possible nearby leak source.

I borrowed his pic and added the colored circles to better illustrate where the leak might be. The red circle is the governor shaft. That is where the fuel looks to be leaking from. The yellow circle, the control valve, is where a leak that his post talks about, comes from. The blue circle is where the fuel is running down from my pump when the engine is running. I will look more closely the next time I am under the hood. I really should just pull the pump and reseal the entire unit just for the experience. I have to pull the pump in order to get to the governor shaft anyway. If that is the leak source. I suppose at 163k miles and 18 years, it’s probably time.
